Project Description
Bangladesh Bridge Authority (BBA) under the Ministry of Road Highways and Bridges, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh (GOB), has undertaken construction of an elevated corridor, Dhaka-Ashulia Elevated Expressway Project (the “Project”), starting from just south of Shahjalal International Airport to Saver EPZ via Abdullahpur, Ashulia and Baipail. The Project will reduce traffic congestion in and around Dhaka-Ashulia industrial area as well as improve road connectivity of the northern part of Dhaka, linking important commercial, industrial and business centers of the Dhaka city. Besides development of about 24.5 km long elevated 4-lane expressway, mostly running along the existing roads, the Project also involves upgrading to 4 lanes of the existing at-grade road and development of a major toll plaza on flood-prone land between Dhour and Ashulia. The scope of the “review and updating of the existing Land Acquisition Plan” works consists of the following tasks:
• Review the existing Land Acquisition Plan;
• Updating of the existing Land Acquisition Plan;
• Field verification/checking;
• Prepare Land Acquisition Plan map;
• Prepare plot schedule;
• Control point Survey;
• Data processing and mapping;
• Submission of interim and final reports of the works.
