Project Description

The project encompasses a comprehensive range of activities aimed at modernizing and improving the electrical infrastructure. The scope includes the design supervision of 33/11kV substations and the associated 33kV underground cables for source connections. It also involves the supervision of overhead network upgradation across various voltage levels, including 33kV, 11kV, 0.630kV, 0.4kV, and 0.23kV. Additionally, the project oversees the laying of 33kV and 11kV underground cables, updating the existing distribution network with As-Built Drawings for both overhead and underground systems. Key components include the preparation of tender documents, Development Project Proposal (DPP), and a long-term distribution network forecast extending to 2050. The project also entails creating detailed GIS maps for the proposed underground design, incorporating forecasted load growth, load zoning, and system redundancy to minimize system loss. Overall, the project involves end-to-end supervision, ensuring a seamless upgrade and modernization of the Narayangonj PBS-1 distribution network.
