The project aims to equip these communities with robust disaster risk reduction plans (UzDRRPs) through:
* Developing methods for hazard and risk assessment.
* Establishing institutional support at the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) for UzDRRP implementation.
* Collaborating with relevant ministries and local governments to formulate practical UzDRRPs.
* Creating a mechanism for nationwide UzDRRP formulation, ensuring broader preparedness.
